JEANINE PIRRO — D.C. U.S. ATTORNEY

Robbie Blue · Deep State Club · August 4, 2026

Pirro indicted a former Olympic canoeist, David Hearn, on a felony destruction-of-property charge for allegedly “forcefully and violently” vandalizing the Reflecting Pool — a charge her own office moved to dismiss weeks later after newly received Interior Department documents showed the damage was caused by a botched, rushed contractor installation, not sabotage. Her office admitted it only learned this after Hearn had already been indicted by a grand jury — meaning charges were filed before the investigation was actually finished. This is what “ready, fire, aim” prosecution looks like when it happens to a real person: weeks under a felony charge, a public accusation of violent vandalism, and an apology his own attorneys say the government still owes him. Pirro’s office has shown a pattern of moving fast and getting the facts backfilled later, at the direct expense of people who did nothing wrong.
